Level 2 · Our core offer

External sales leadership

Who leads sales while your company grows?

Someone leading sales inside your company, without a full-time hire. It includes all of the action plan oversight, and we also lead: sales targets, resources and pipeline and forecast meetings with your team.

  • Includes oversight
  • Time commitment agreed according to scope
  • Milestones at 30, 60 and 90 days from the start of execution
Desk with a sketched funnel and notes arranged like a pipeline

When it makes sense

When sales needs leadership, but not yet a full-time director

  • ✓Selling still depends on the founder and you want that to change.
  • ✓You're about to hire your first salespeople and nobody leads sales yet.
  • ✓You already have a sales team, but without shared priorities or criteria.
  • ✓You need a forecast that stands up to your board's questions.

Who does what

What we do and what stays with you

What we do

  • We set sales targets based on your leadership's decisions
  • We allocate resources and set SMART objectives
  • We lead your team in carrying out the plans
  • We run pipeline and forecast meetings
  • All of the oversight: milestones at 30, 60 and 90 days from the start of execution and a quarterly review

What stays with you

  • Your leadership makes the big decisions and approves priorities
  • Your team sells: we don't provide commissioned salespeople or make cold calls for you
  • The heads of marketing and post-sale keep leading their teams, unless explicitly mandated otherwise
  • The system, data and tools stay in your company

How we start

The path we recommend, and another way to start

We recommend the full path: sales diagnosis (roughly 3–4 weeks, indicative) → 3 objectives and 3 action plans → action plan oversight or, in addition, external sales leadership.

Already have your own diagnosis? If your company already has a recent diagnosis or analysis, we start from it: we review it and complete whatever is needed to set the baseline before execution starts.

Ways of working together

Oversight and external sales leadership, compared

The levels are cumulative, not phases you have to buy one after the other: external sales leadership includes all of the oversight.

The quarterly review covers results, execution and priorities. It doesn't repeat the full diagnosis: we only extend it when relevant changes or new evidence justify it, and only as far as needed. Any cross-functional responsibility for marketing, post-sale or coordinating the whole revenue cycle is agreed explicitly in each project's mandate and scope. Analysing or working on an area doesn't mean taking over its leadership.

Timeline

Two stretches: diagnosis and execution

First, the diagnosis (roughly 3–4 weeks). Once it closes, if you decide to continue, execution of the plans begins: the 30, 60 and 90-day milestones are counted from the start of execution, not from the diagnosis.

Frequently asked questions

Do you replace my sales team?+

No. Your team sells. We lead sales with them: targets, resources, priorities and pipeline and forecast meetings. The aim is a system that works without depending on a single person.

Do we have to start with the diagnosis?+

Not always. We recommend starting with the diagnosis: it sets the baseline, the 3 objectives and the 3 plans we then lead. If your company already has a recent diagnosis or analysis, we start from it: we review it and complete whatever is needed to set the baseline before execution starts.

Does it include leading marketing or post-sale?+

Not by default. Any cross-functional responsibility for marketing, post-sale or the full revenue cycle is agreed explicitly in the mandate and scope.

What's the time commitment?+

It's agreed according to scope, without the cost or commitment of a full-time sales director. The proposal sets out the time commitment before we start.

How much does it cost?+

It depends on scope and time commitment. We'll look at it on the call and, before we start, the proposal sets out deliverables, time commitment and price.
